Welcome to Frivolous Fabrics. By accessing our website or purchasing from our store, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the site including customers, vendors, and browsers.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this site, you confirm that you are the age of majority in your province or territory of residence.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction when using this website.

2. Products & Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products, or limit quantities at any time without notice.

Because fabric is cut to order, pattern placement and exact color appearance may vary slightly from what is shown online.

3. Fabric Cutting Policy

Fabric is cut specifically for each order.

Once fabric has been cut, it cannot be returned or exchanged unless the product is defective.

All fabric is sold in 1 metre increments unless otherwise stated.

4. Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. This may include:

  • suspected fraud
  • pricing errors
  • inventory discrepancies

If an order is cancelled after payment is received, a full refund will be issued.

5. Shipping

Shipping rates and delivery estimates are provided at checkout.

Frivolous Fabrics is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors beyond our control.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package is delivered to the shipping carrier.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Please review our Return Policy for full details.

In general:

  • Cut fabric is final sale
  • Clearance items are final sale
  • Notions and tools may be eligible for return within 14 days if unused and in original packaging.

7. Longarm Quilting Services

When submitting a quilt for longarm quilting services:

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring quilt tops are square and pressed.
  • Additional charges may apply for repairs, excessive fullness, or preparation required.
  • Quilts left unclaimed for more than 60 days after completion notice may be subject to storage fees.

While every care is taken, quilting services involve handling textile materials and Frivolous Fabrics is not responsible for pre-existing flaws in fabric or construction.

8. Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occur.

We reserve the right to correct any errors and cancel affected orders if necessary.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including images, graphics, patterns, and branding is the property of Frivolous Fabrics and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Our store may use third-party services such as payment processors and shipping carriers. These services operate under their own terms and policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

Frivolous Fabrics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
