Thank you for shopping with Frivolous Fabrics. We carefully pack and ship every order to ensure your fabrics and sewing supplies arrive safely.


Shipping Rates

We currently ship within Canada.

Shipping rates are as follows:

  • Flat Rate Shipping: $15 CAD
  • Free Shipping: Orders over $100 CAD before taxes

Shipping rates apply per order and will be displayed at checkout.


Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

During busy periods, sales events, or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.


Shipping Carriers

Orders are shipped using reliable Canadian carriers which may include:

  • Canada Post
  • UPS
  • Purolator
  • Other regional carriers

Carrier selection may vary depending on order size, weight, and destination.


Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times vary by location.

Typical delivery estimates:

  • Alberta: 1–3 business days
  • Western Canada: 2–5 business days
  • Eastern Canada: 4–8 business days

These estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.


Tracking Information

If tracking is available for your shipment, it will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped.


Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is correct at checkout.

Frivolous Fabrics is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Additional shipping charges may apply if packages must be re-shipped.


Lost or Delayed Packages

Once an order is handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery is controlled by the carrier.

Frivolous Fabrics is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • weather
  • carrier delays
  • customs or transportation disruptions

If a package appears lost, please contact us and we will assist with filing a carrier investigation.


Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available for customers in Fort McMurray.

If available, the pickup option will appear during checkout. Customers will receive a notification when their order is ready.


Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged package and contents.

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
